Weeping Blue Cedar Tree | Cedrus atlantica ‘Glauca Pendula’
- A wonderfully eyecatching small evergreen with a weeping habit, this tree gets its distinctive colour from the blue green feathery foliage of its vertically hanging branches
- A fully hardy, low maintenance tree which needs no pruning (but can be shaped as you wish) and is unbothered by pests or diseases
- More compact than a standard blue cedar by a long way, growing to just 4-8m unless pruned to fit a smaller space
- Can be grown in a large container
- When established, Glauca is heat and drought tolerant
- Native to the Atlas mountains in North Africa
- Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit
- Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching.
- Please note that young trees often don’t have a weeping shape, particularly when they arrive early in the year after being pruned – but hold tight and that unique form will develop over time
