- This variety is a filbert (a type of hazelnut).
- An upright, deciduous small tree with colourful, heart-shaped leaves which emerge dark purple in spring, turn green in summer and mature to maroon in autumn.

- A neat, low maintenance little nut tree ideal for any size of garden, growing to just 3 x 3m and can be pruned smaller.
- Pink catkins appear in spring, attracting early pollinators.
