‘Peche de Vigne’ Bloody Peach Tree
- Peach of the Vine, also known as Blood Peach, looks like an ordinary peach from the outside, but cut into it and you’ll find dazzling red flesh
- An heirloom variety that you definitely won’t find in the shops, with a deliciously sweet and aromatic flavour with a hint of berries
- Harvest from mid August
- Plant in full sun, ideally in a border next to a south or west facing wall, but this variety also does well as a freestanding tree in warmer parts of the country
- Self fertile – you’ll get a good crop from just one tree
