‘Miss Satomi’ Japanese Dogwood Tree | Cornus kousa
- Wavy green, maroon flushed leaves which gradually change to shades of vibrant crimson from late summer onwards and become intensely red in the autumn. The clusters of large flower bracts (2.5-5cm across) are creamy white, maturing to a soft pink picotee edge and are followed in autumn by red, strawberry-like fruits. These are edible but the skin is tough and unpalatable!
