‘Lara’ Walnut Tree
- A compact but still substantial walnut tree with smooth, grey bark and dark green, fragrant foliage
- Lara is disease resistant, self fertile and produces heavy crops of large nuts from a young age (3-4 years)
- Creamy, light brown walnuts are produced in early to mid autumn. They can be harvested green for pickling or left until autumn to dry and store
- Grows to 12m but can be pruned smaller
- Short, greenish catkins appear in late spring to early summer, attracting early pollinators

- Grow in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered spot
