Golden Privet Hedging | Ligustrum ovalifolium ‘Aureum’
- Golden Privet is a dense, semi-evergreen hedge which keeps some of its leaves all winter and flowers in summer, providing year-round interest. It’s less vigorous than the green version
- Variegated leaves in shades of bright green with sunny yellow margins – some are completely yellow. Abundant white flowers appear in July
- A hardy, fast growing plant which will reach a height of approx 4m but can easily be maintained at 1-3m
- Grows well in most conditions, except for very wet sites. Privet is also suitable for coastal locations, although you may notice some leaf fall during winter
- Somewhat poisonous if ingested. Wear gloves and wash hands after handling
